Economics & Management Department is one of the five founding departments of Weihai Vocational College. It has many years of professional experience in running, and has set up more than 5 majors, including Electronic Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, Statistics & Accounting, Cold-chain Logistics Technology & Management etc. There are 24 simulated training rooms, including accounting simulation training room, international trade process training room and logistics training room, equipped with 24 teaching simulation software. Students can be certified as accountants, logistics division, marketers, customs officers, inspectors, international freight forwards and other industries during the school years, which will lay a solid foundation for students’ employment. The department insists on the discipline of "stressing unity, taking care of the overall situation, making contributions, doing hard work, striving for excellence", and cultivates intelligent, practical, international high-quality professionals. The department has a strong faculty of 76 full-time teachers, including 2 professors,14 associate professors, 34 lecturers and 26 teaching assistants; 1 person with a doctoral degree, and 45 master's degree. It also employs more than 10 senior managers and professional technicians as part-time teachers from the famous companies. All teachers and students of Economics & Management Department will work together and innovate constantly, to make the future of harmonious and proactive department more splendid.
