Currently, the Architectural Engineering Department has more than 1800 students. There are 48 full-time teachers and many part-time teachers from some large companies. The teaching facilities are complete and the experiment and training conditions are excellent. It has established training bases off our school with 50 construction enterprises, such as Weihai Construction Group, Shandong Construction Group, Shandong Wan Xin Construction Group, and so on. Enterprises and technical personnel participatein the construction of specialized courses, both sides jointly formulate teaching plans, serve as practical guidance teaching task, and provide studentswith internships and employment positions. Now it sets up 4 majors, such as Architectural Engineering Technology, Architectural Electric Engineering Technology, Architectural Decoration Engineering Technology, Engineering Cost Specialty, and so on. There are 7 quality courses at the college level or above. Students can obtain a college degree, computer grade certificate, English grade certificate and Mandarin certificate upon graduation. And they also can be awarded as construction, budget, surveyors, security officers, inspectors, supervisors and other post certificate by the Provincial Department of construction. After graduation, through several years of practice and exercise, the students can obtain the national registered construction division, supervision division, cost division, real estate appraisers and other professional qualification certificates.
